CrossFit San Ramon Announces they Offer Strength and Running Training to Help Clients Look Good this Summer

San Ramon, California (EastBayDaily) — CrossFit San Ramon fitness center announces that since 2009 they have brought the CrossFit strength and conditioning program and POSE running training and clinics to residents in the East Bay.

CrossFit is the strength training and conditioning program that many police academies, tactical and military operations units, martial artists and many athletes use worldwide. Comprised of a number of constantly varying movements like pushing and pulling, squatting, lifting and running, they are all executed at high intensity. The program is designed to cater to individual, regardless of their experience. The regimen is never changed, only the load and intensity.

“At CrossFit San Ramon, we offer a no-obligation, two-week trial that includes three ‘On Ramp’ movement sessions, one nutrition session, and unlimited access to our group classes,” said Tim Hill, owner of CrossFit San Ramon. “In our movement classes, clients will be exposed to the fundamentals of CrossFit training, and will learn how to properly use the equipment for strength training. Our nutrition session exposes clients on how diet plays a role in physical success, and teaches them how to maximize their energy and strengthen their body.”

The POSE method is a running technique that maximizes efficiency and stresses injury-free movement, lowering clients’ chance for injuries, lessening the impact on their knees, and improving their overall athletic performance. These techniques have also received national press, highlighted in the New York Times bestseller, “Born to Run,” by Christopher McDougall.

CrossFit San Ramon owner Tim Hill is a Level 3 POSE certified running coach, just one of seven Level 3 coaches in the country and the only one in California. Drawing from his experiences as an athlete, he offers running training clinics, running techniques and the POSE method of running. He teaches clients the proper movement and body positions for running, and helps them run faster and more efficiently. Tim Hill also stresses the use of proper footwear, and will guide you in your transition to minimalist “barefoot” running shoes, such as VibramFiveFingers or light weight racing flats.
