San Ramon, California (EastBayDaily) — In its ongoing efforts to shift to a data-driven, paperless immigration system, U.S. Immigration and Citizenship Services (USCIS) has introduced a new 2D barcode feature to two key immigration forms. INSZoom.com, Inc., the world’s leading technology provider for immigration professionals, has incorporated new functionality to ensure its clients are able to use and comply with these new barcode features in a seamless manner.
The new barcodes are included at the bottom of every page on the I-90 and G-28 immigration forms. When users enter data on these forms, the barcodes automatically shift and change to reflect those data. When the forms are submitted, USCIS scans all entered data from the barcodes and uploads into its systems. This will highly improve both data quality and process efficiency.
“We are pleased to see USCIS introduce new technology such as the barcodes on the I-90 and G-28 forms,” said Umesh Vaidyamath, CEO, INSZoom. “We’ve immediately responded to this new functionality to ensure our clients fully comply with USCIS requirements and do so in a manner that enables them to continue to work efficiently through the cloud.”
INSZoom’s technology is fully tested with these new barcodes, which went into effect on February 28 and March 11 of this year. INSZoom’s clients will be able to effectively fill out these forms through INSZoom’s comprehensive case management technology with no changes to standard workflow.
