Oakland, California (EastBayDaily) — Re-Energizing Your Practice for Growth and Sustainability is the topic of LearnVirtual’s next DesignRealized AIA Continuing Education Event. Scheduled for August 26, 2011, at 9 a.m. Pacific, this program features two firms – The Beck Group and Lucchesi Galati Architects – sharing how they created new products and services that helped them re-energize their businesses. This AIA CES event is hosted by over 20 Chapters of the American Institute of Architects from around the U.S.

“Many AEC firms are working to meet new market challenges and environmental concerns to achieve a competitive edge; few have achieved the high levels of success demonstrated by The Beck Group and Lucchesi Galati” says Tony Rinella, curriculum developer for DesignRealized. “We are delighted to have these two well-respected, leading firms show how their individual companies re-evaluated their strategic approach to business, and share how other firms can bring new strengths to the market.”

Speakers at the August 26 DesignRealized AIA CES event are:     Betsy del Monte, FAIA, LEED BD+C, Principal and Director of Sustainability at The Beck Group has 26 years of experience in architectural design, project management, and sustainability consulting. Ms. del Monte will share how The Beck Group transitioned to an integrated design, construction and real estate service company with a shared purpose and bottom line.     Raymond J. Lucchesi, AIA, LEED AP, Principal at Lucchesi Galati Architects will discuss how his firm developed a unique practice and approach to client needs by combining Sustainability, Architecture and Sociology to create exceptionally new service offerings.
