Concord, California (EastBayDaily) — Author Angus Wynn described his new novel “The Greed Gene” (published by iUniverse) as “a book of revelation and fictional revenge.” Fueled by his own personal experiences, Wynn decided to take his story to print, in the form of a titillating novel.
In The Greed Gene Wynn tells the story of a group of professionals who are tired of the endless pursuit of the almighty dollar. They decide it is time to do something about it. Together they set out to silence the greed gene and save humanity from its addiction to excess.
Fans of Chuck Palahniuk’s “Fight Club” will find much to enjoy in Wynn’s “The Greed Gene.” Like Palahniuk’s debut novel, “The Greed Gene” turns a critical, and at times humorous, eye at consumer culture.
When asked of the overall theme of “The Greed Gene” Wynn replied, “we buy and use too much – we must save our planet!”
After reading “The Greed Gene” Wynn hopes readers will become more mindful of the effect they have on the world and on their well-being.
About the Author Angus Wynn lives in the Northwest. This is his second novel.
