About the Great American Barbecue
The Great American Barbecue Company, a Bay Area barbecue rib restaurant, was established in October of 2007 in Alameda, California. The Great American Barbecue began operating as a full service restaurant with an awesome catering department that fills the needs for many local businesses, organizations and personal BBQ catering for any event required. Their emphasis is on using the finest meats and ingredients for the barbecue, homemade side dishes and desserts that are made from scratch. They shop daily at local purveyors for meats, vegetables and other ingredients for use in-house. Artisan Barbecue is an old way of crafting meats that has no equivalent, requiring the cooking to be low and slow. They celebrate this philosophy daily in all their preparations. The Great American Barbecue is a member of the National Barbecue Association and California Barbecue Association.
