Bay Area Competitive Gymnastics Facility, Head Over Heels Athletic Arts Announces Spring Show Fundraiser

Emeryville, California (EastBayDaily) — Head Over Heels, whose Level Nine team is the current Nor Cal State Champions, is a Bay Area competitive gymnastics gym that also offers recreational gymnastics classes, preschool and kids gymnastics, circus arts, and dance classes, is hosting a day-long, fun-filled festival on June 3 in the 4701 Doyle St. parking lot. This event is not just for current Head Over Heels’ families that are enrolled, but also for those who are not enrolled and want to join in the day’s festivities.

“We will have live performances inside and a carnival outside,” Diedra Bassel of Head Over Heels said. “In years past, we have had two bounce houses, carnival games, bath tub racers, face painting, raffles, silent auctions, plenty of food, souvenir photos and the dunk tank!”

The Spring Show is the biggest fundraising event for Head Over Heels, a non-profit organization, so consider supporting its Scholarship Program with a tax deductible donation at either the silent auction or the raffle drawing. All donations will support children with scholarships in Head Over Heels’ programs. Donations worth $50 or more that are received before May 10 will receive acknowledgment in the event’s program, and those who donated $250 or more are eligible to have a business card advertisement in the program and the company’s logo on the Head Over Heels’ website.

About Head Over Heels Athletic Arts

Head Over Heels Athletic Arts has been helping children gain fitness, gymnastics skills, confidence and self-esteem for more than 35 years. Founded in Oakland in 1977, Head Over Heels continues to grow and offer new, varied programs with the constant goal of providing the best in children’s gymnastics and fitness. The Head Over Heels’ staff is required to undergo various kinds of training to ensure excellent sports instructions, as well as the safety of each child. Children are natural learners, and Head Over Heels promotes that positive learning environment with the goal of giving young students a lifelong love of being physically active. For some students, a preschool class at Head Over Heels is their first classroom experience, preparing them for the academic classroom setting.
