Berkeley, California (EastBayDaily) — Looking Glass Photo a Bay Area digital printing company hosted an Angel Island Photo Adventure on Saturday, July 30. A group took the Angel Island Ferry from Tiburon to Angel Island on that morning and toured the island. They observed an historical reenactment called “Guarding the Gate” and received one-on-one photographic instruction from the company’s photo experts.
The excursion was co-sponsored by Tamron and a representative from the company was on hand and allowed members of the group to use Canon and Nikon mount lenses.
The next day, Looking Glass Photo hosted another exciting event when they sponsored a photo booth at the Berkeley-Easy Bay Humane Society’s “Bay to Bakers” fundraising event. The company offered studio portraits of pets and their owners for a small fee. The company also donated an in-studio portrait session and a framed 8 X 10 pet portrait as raffle items to raise money for the cause.
“It is their goal to raise $50,000 this year and we were happy to offer our services because every little bit helps,” Jane Walcukauski added.
