Bayer HealthCare Launches Living With Hemophilia Program To Provide Help For Patients And Families

Berkeley, California (EastBayDaily) — Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals announced today that it has launched a new program called Living with Hemophilia to provide practical tips and tools for patients and families living with hemophilia. Nurses at local hemophilia treatment centers around the country are leading interactive discussion groups and the new companion online magazine,, will help continue the discussion by providing articles, expert features, and downloadable forms and checklists.

Each category includes brief articles, quick tips and checklists for managing life with hemophilia. From “Organizing your treatment supplies” to “Creating a positive family atmosphere,” there’s something to help everyone. The site also will contain updates from experts, online polls and a special section for health care providers called, “Hemophilia University” which will include continuing education (CE) programming. The first CE module available for registered nurses is called, ‘Challenges in Hemophilia: Orthopedic Procedures.’
