Berkeley CPR Classes Offers a Free BLS Study Guide with the New American Heart Association Guidelines

Berkeley, California (EastBayDaily) — Berkeley CPR Classes has a Free BLS CPR Review Guide, which will help students prepare for their upcoming American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification class. There are many different types of jobs that require this CPR training course including: nurses, dentists, doctors, EMTs, personal trainers, lifeguards, chiropractors, and other medical and healthcare professionals. If a student is getting ready to take their BLS CPR renewal course, it is recommended to study before the training since there is a small written test at the end of the class.

The Free BLS Study Guide will help students refresh their skills or who need to renew their BLS certification card. The study guide includes information about the chain of survival, how to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) on all age groups, how to save a choking victim, and how to use a pocket mask and bag valve mask. Students can prepare for their CPR renewal training by reviewing the CPR videos and reading the steps of CPR. The American Heart Association recommends to pick up, and review the official BLS for Healthcare Providers book before the training. Students must have the official AHA CPR book during their training course.

If you need to renew your BLS certification or need to take the CPR class for the first time, Safety Training Seminars teaches these classes on a daily basis. The BLS CPR courses are taught throughout the Bay Area in the following cities: San Francisco, San Jose, Berkeley, Concord, & Novato. For students who live outside of the Bay Area, the American Heart Association offers local classes throughout the USA. The American Heart Association has a website where you can input the class, date, and location to find a BLS class that is convenient.
