Boutique Piedmont Real Estate Firm Highland Partners Now Hiring New Agents for Newly Renovated Montclair Office

Piedmont, California (EastBayDaily) — HIGHLAND PARTNERS, a high end luxury boutique Montclair and Piedmont real estate agency, is now seeking agents with experience who are team players, passionate, ethical, positive and willing to follow the systems they have put in place. HIGHLAND PARTNERS offers training or retraining for agents who have been in real estate but who have not received guidance in the past.

“We believe in supporting our agents 100 percent, no matter what they may need,” notes Managing Partner Heidi Marchesotti.

HIGHLAND PARTNERS offers a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where agents can thrive. Co-owner Debbi DiMaggio also holds marketing meetings for the agents—whether in small groups or one on one. Debbi was recently asked to speak at the Union Street office to share her insight on branding and marketing.

Agent Kristen von Bargen (bhghome.com/kristen) was raised in Carmel by the Sea and saw the world as a travel consultant before settling in the East Bay and joining HIGHLAND PARTNERS. Kristen says she knew she’d found her real estate home when she joined the team because of the office’s high energy and positive atmosphere, the supportive pool of talent that works there, their proactive and forward-thinking approach to marketing and overall amazing responsiveness to clients’ needs, and the giving and rewarding attitudes of the folks in charge there.

Okay, and it doesn’t hurt that with a name like “HIGHLAND PARTNERS,” she feels right at home busting out and playing the occasional tune or two on her bagpipes, should the occasion demand.

Adele Gillis (adelegillis.com) has had a long career starting in finance at Fidelity Investments in Boston and transitioning into real estate with a specialty in exceptional properties throughout the Bay Area. Although she has worked for Coldwell Banker and Sotheby’s, Adele knew from the moment she walked through the door of HIGHLAND PARTNERS that she’d found a truly special office.

“You don’t see an office with cubicles and paperwork strewn; you see an elegant, inviting, calming work and living space, embodying the understanding we all have of showcasing a listing,” Adele explains. But it goes beyond the cosmetic; the office exudes a sense of unity and cohesiveness. “That’s what makes agents want to come and work with HIGHLAND PARTNERS, because it is in that type of environment that exceptional work thrives—and is recognized.”

Sarah Abel (sarahabel.com) agrees that the office environment at HIGHLAND PARTNERS is supportive and congenial. After years of working in commercial real estate, she enjoys the personal and emotional aspect of residential real estate with HIGHLAND PARTNERS. She highlights their “lifestyle” approach to real estate, which allows a wider net to be cast in terms of the services agents can offer their clients.

“The partners at HIGHLAND PARTNERS, BH&G Mason-McDuffie complement each other,” says Sarah. “Heidi possesses sharp business sense, Debbi has a knack for marketing and Adam has a strong background in finance creating dynamic teams. Each of the partners is available to assist agents to help or provide guidance for topics like the best approach for writing an offer, developing a marketing strategy or finding different financing options. The partners have created a very cohesive, cooperative and enjoyable working environment for their agents.”

Twin brothers Scott and Kent Hill (bhghome.com/scottandkenthill.com) both grew up in Piedmont, and their family has been in town for nearly 100 years. They both worked in commercial real estate before teaming up to create the TwinHill Golf Company. After selling the company, they decided to come home and join HIGHLAND PARTNERS. “HIGHLAND PARTNERS has been the perfect fit for us both,” says Kent. “Management allows us to have our freedom, but when needed, they’re always there. HIGHLAND PARTNERS is like family and honestly going to the office every day is fun. Both Scott and I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a great company.”

HIGHLAND PARTNERS’ branding stands out immediately heads above my previous company. In a short time, HP has defined its branding and everything the Partners do is executed to promote that branding. The branding is not just “hype,” but truly an integral part of how the Partners, their agents and associates do business i.e., being committed to the community and local schools, giving clients a personal “boutique” experience, whether buying or selling.

Rosie Nysaether is a long time resident of the East Bay. Her knowledge of homes and neighborhoods—from shopping and dining, to all the diverse amenities the East Bay has to offer—is invaluable to both the native born and newcomers to the area.

Rosie appreciates the way the partners at HIGHLAND PARTNERS are on an even keel with the agents. She says they are supportive, accessible and treat agents as equal peers. They always smile when she comes in. This culture permeates to other agents who follow suit, resulting in an energetic, supportive office. “The people who make up HP are the best aspect of this office,” says Rosie.
