CopperGate Communications Expands Senior Management Team : Company Rapidly Expanding Product Line and Geography

As vice president of engineering, Tsach Shwartz is responsible for all engineering development efforts at CopperGate. Previously, he was vice president of R&D at Alvarion, the leading supplier of WiMax solutions, where he managed a 200-person engineering team across three continents and helped the company grow to more than $200 million in sales across 150 countries.

CopperGate co-founder David Baum will now direct all global marketing and product management functions as vice president of worldwide marketing. Previously, he was vice president of North American business development, where he helped establish CopperGate’s North American presence and secure many top accounts.

Michael Weissman, vice president of North American marketing oversees the CopperGate brand, marketing communications, and market research functions. Previously, he was CEO of a venture-backed start-up and marketing advisor to leading technology companies such as Adobe, Amazon, Apple, HP, Intel, and Qualcomm.

The new vice president of operations, Eran Schwartz manages CopperGate’s supply chain, logistics, IT and administration. Before joining CopperGate, he was logistics, purchasing and IT manager at Ness Technologies, a global provider of end-to-end IT services and solutions with operations in 18 countries.
