Berkeley, California (EastBayDaily) — Sensys Networks announced today that David Plumer has joined the company as WW VP Sales and Marketing, reporting to Sensys Networks CEO and Co-Founder, Amine Haoui.
Mr. Plumer comes to Sensys Networks from LED technology leader, Bridgelux, where he was most recently the Chief Commercial Officer. David has over 30 years of senior management and business leadership spanning the IT, Power and Clean Technology sectors. He has held senior executive roles at American Power Conversion (APC) and was President of APC Asia Pacific region as well as Sr. VP of the global IT Business Unit. He was a member of the APC Executive team whose success resulted in the company’s $6B cash acquisition by Schneider Electric. Prior to joining APC, Dave was with IBM where he held a number of executive management positions in sales, marketing, product management and technology operations and invested half his career based in Asia, leading rapid growth in those emerging markets.
Mr. Plumer holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Union College and holds his M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
