Walnut Creek, California (EastBayDaily) — Diablo Custom Publishing (DCP) has been selected by the Custom Content Council to host the West Coast judging of the 2014 Pearl Awards. The Pearl Awards celebrate the best in custom media, design, editorial and strategic initiatives for B2B and B2C publications.
The Pearl Awards are the continent’s first award program devoted exclusively to content marketing across print, digital and multichannel platforms. Custom content providers—whether small or large, B2B or B2C—represent clients in a wide range of industries and produce magazines, newsletters, and digital publications.
Entries will be judged October 3, 2014 in Chicago, New York, Walnut Creek, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta by panels of marketing executives, academics, journalists, designers, corporate strategists, and publishers. Finalists will be notified in late October, and official designation of Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners will be announced at the Pearl Awards ceremony November 11 in New York.
“It’s an honor for DCP to participate in the annual Pearl Awards program both as a entrant in the competition and as host representing the West Coast custom content industry. A qualified panel of local judges has been recruited, and it is ready to take an active role in support of the Content Council,” notes Dave Reik, Marketing Director for DCP.
