Dublin, California (EastBayDaily) — Four years ago this month, the Dublin/Pleasanton/San Ramon area received another delicious entry into the food industry with Amakara, a restaurant serving Japanese food. One of the best Dublin sushi restaurants in the area, Amakara has made a quick and indelible mark on the public. During March, Amakara celebrates four years in business.
The restaurant first opened its doors on March 18, 2008 and reviews immediately began flooding in.
“So, I had my best Sushi experience last weekend. It was in the least expected place at Amakara in Dublin, CA….My friends took me here and I was apprehensive at first because of the location and the modern look of the restaurant…Here there is a freshness and a variety of flavor and textures,” wrote KrazeE on http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/525163 shortly after the restaurant opened, in June 2008.
In the nearly four years since that review had been written, Amakara has not lost any steam and the high standards have actually increased with time.
“I always love ordering the sesame chicken here and tonight I tried their ramen. I've become a ramen fanatic and actually enjoyed their ramen here. Noodles were nice and firm. The chicken was still also very satisfying….Prices here are still decent and service is friendly,” wrote Hello K. of Fremont on Yelp.com on March 9, 2012.
