Berkeley, California (EastBayDaily) — Oakland interior designer, Kristina Wolf, recently landed one of the industry’s top honors – a nomination by industry peers for a membership with the Accessories Resource Team (ART), the only trade group in the United States that represents the home accents and accent furniture industry.
Kristina Wolf will accept this nomination at the spring High Point Market in North Carolina, which takes place from April 21 to 26. Once she accepts and becomes an ART member, the East Bay interior designer will gain many benefits, including national recognition for her expertise in accessorizing interior living spaces.
“A room is not just about the furniture and the layout,” said Kristina Wolf. “It takes art, paint colors, rugs, accessories, and much more to bring an entire room together well. It’s a huge honor to be nominated for an ART membership and it opens a lot of doors for me and my clients.”
Founded in 1988 to build and support the home accessories business, ART unites accessory manufacturers, importers, designers, retailers, and sales representatives from across the nation through elite member-only networking events, conferences, seminars, workshops, and roundtables.
As a member of the ART community, Kristina Wolf Design will gain exclusive insight into upcoming trends and have the ability to influence the accessory design and manufacturing process. Her connections with the other members will also give her clients more design options and discounts.
“The membership means that Kristina Wolf Design will be a part of the proverbial inner circle,” explained Kristina. “We will be giving national accessory manufacturers important insider input for future product development and working with them to ensure products are being developed for our clients that reflect new design aesthetics.”
A prestigious nomination like this represents a level of respect and admiration between industry partners. Kristina Wolf Design was nominated by Jaipur Rugs, an industry partner that received their own honor from ART earlier this year as the winner of the Manufacturer Area Rugs category at the 23rd Annual ART Awards in Dallas.
“We want to thank Jaipur Rugs for the nomination,” said Kristina. “They are a powerful force in the interior design world and we love working with them.”
ART will co-host four short seminars in their member showrooms and a bowling event during the upcoming spring High Point Market in North Carolina, where Kristina will accept her nomination.
The High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, filling over 10 million square feet of exhibit space with home accessories from more than 2,000 suppliers. Twice a year, more than 80,000 people come to High Point to see the new fashion trends of tens of thousands of new products.
