HomeGain Launches Green Real Estate Campaign for Realtors

Emeryville, California (EastBayDaily) — HomeGain®, a leader in online real estate marketing solutions, today announced that it launched a Green Real Estate Campaign in anticipation of Earth Day. The campaign provides Realtors® with green ideas for making changes in the way they conduct business so they may help their clients make eco-friendly choices.

The kick off of HomeGain’s Green Real Estate Campaign includes: HomeGain’s pledge, in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, to pay for up to 1,000 trees to be planted in national forests; conducting audio interviews and webinars featuring green HomeGain members; and distributing free, reusable HomeGain shopping bags to agent members.

This month HomeGain member Jeffrey Bastress of Startpoint Realty, and Green Certified Broker, Green Certified Instructor and Green Licensed Builder, discusses “Greening Your Real Estate Practice” in his webinar. Marie Scheuring of Keller Williams Realty talks about the benefits of having an EcoBroker® designation in her audio interview.

“HomeGain is proud to support the cause of raising green awareness within the real estate community,” stated Louis Cammarosano, General Manager at HomeGain. “Energy efficient homes are not only good for the environment, they are also in demand by home buyers.”

HomeGain practices eco-friendliness at their headquarters in Emeryville by recycling, using recycled materials, maintaining an office environment free of disposable paper and plastic goods, and subsidizing HomeGain employee public transportation commuting costs.
