John F. Kennedy University Receives ABA Approval to Expand Legal Studies Program

Pleasant Hill, California (EastBayDaily) — John F. Kennedy University has received approval from the American Bar Association to offer its Paralegal Certificate and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Studies in San Jose beginning in fall 2011.

This program is unique in that it is the only ABA-approved Bachelor’s Degree in Northern California and offers students the opportunity to achieve both their Paralegal Certificate and Bachelor’s Degree at the same time.

JFK University received ABA approval to offer the Legal Studies program at its Pleasant Hill campus in spring 2009. Since its launch, this has been one of the fastest growing undergraduate programs offered at the University.

To celebrate the launch of the program in San Jose, the University is offering $2,000 scholarships to new students enrolling in the San Jose program for fall 2011. The fall application deadline is September 19th.
