Lake Chabot Golf Course & Oakland Parks & Recreation Celebrate Green of Spring at the 6th Annual Spring Easter Egg Hunt

Oakland, California (EastBayDaily) — Peter Collier of Oakland Park’s and Recreation‘s community gardens will be doing planting projects for participants to take home. There will also be a recycled craft project and eggs are being recycled to prevent plastics in the landfill.

Kids will enjoy face painting and a visit from Lake Chabot Golf’s Bunny friend. Each child needs only to find 1 egg to trade in for a prize bag. If any kid finds 1 of the 100 gold golf balls they will win a special prize and if they find the 1 giant golden egg they will win a bike. Adults will not be allowed to pick up eggs.

Lake Chabot Golf Course is also offering free golf clinics for kids 8 years and older. Registration for the 10:00 am and 11:00 am clinics is on site. All family members get a free raffle ticket just for registering your family between 8:30 and 9:25 am.

Egg Hunt times are 9:30 am for 7 & older and 9:45 am for 6 & younger. All attendees are asked to come early as parking can be crowded.

Lake Chabot Golf Course & Oakland Park’s and Recreation look forward to your celebrating the Green of Spring with you and your families.
