(LYRI), a global provider of digital marketing solutions, today announced industry veteran John Philpin has joined the team as senior vice president of engineering. In this role, Philpin is responsible for leading the design and development of Lyris’ next-generation digital marketing solutions.

With more than 25 years in the industry, Philpin has experience in both U.S. and European markets working for a number of large enterprises including Citibank, General Electric and Oracle. Equally comfortable in engineering, sales, marketing, and operations, he has a proven track record in developing, marketing, selling and delivering real world business solutions to enterprises. Philpin has also worked with early-stage technology companies, small businesses, consulting organizations and government agencies. He holds a degree in Mathematics from the UK’s University of East Anglia.
