Emeryville, California (EastBayDaily) — Lyris, Inc., the online marketing expert, today announced it is further extending its global footprint by growing its presence in Australia, following closely upon the company’s recent expansion in Latin America. Lyris is opening its first Australian offices and appointing Nicole Stanton as General Manager to lead regional operations. Additionally, Lyris is making a strategic investment in Lyris partner Cogent, one of Australia’s leading online marketing companies.
Lyris Opens First Australian Offices To continue global organic growth, Lyris is opening new country headquarters with offices in Sydney and Brisbane. Lyris’ new offices will enable the company to better partner with Australian marketers seeking to leverage email marketing as it becomes more deeply integrated with search, social, and mobile and marketing analytics. The new offices will be led by General Manager Nicole Stanton.
Stanton’s 15 years of technology and marketing solutions experience, coupled with blue chip client relationships, will drive regional growth. Stanton has held senior positions in companies such as Foxtel, TurboLinux, IMSI, IDC, Data Solutions, Lead Master and various other international organizations.
“Lyris’ strong track record has already allowed us to partner with leading Australian businesses like Macquarie University, the Australian National Gallery and Net-registry to enable them to achieve their email marketing and online business objectives,” said Nicole Stanton, general manager, Lyris Australia. “It is my team’s mandate to continue surpassing client expectations to drive Lyris Australia’s growth as a trusted partner in the delivery of digital marketing campaigns in the Asia-Pacific region.”
Investment in Cogent To complement its expanded organic presence in the country, Lyris is also making a strategic investment in Cogent, one of the country’s most respected and fastest growing email and online marketing agencies. The Cogent team possesses decades of experience leading Internet-based marketing programs for leading global brands. Cogent has been a Lyris partner for the last 18 months, growing quickly while leading the adoption of Lyris’ solutions amongst its client base of Australian marketers.
“Coming on the heels of our Latin America expansion, Australia represents the next phase of Lyris’ continued international growth, as we bring integrated online marketing to all corners of the globe,” said Luis Rivera, chief executive officer, Lyris. “Our investment in Cogent will yield immediate returns due to their growing reputation and client win rate. Moreover, with Nicole Stanton at the helm of our regional operations, she and her team will spark immediate organic growth.”
