Oakland Plumbing Services, Harry Clark Plumbing and Heating Inc., Took Part in ‘Rebuilding Together Oakland’ Project

Oakland, California (EastBayDaily) — Harry Clark Plumbing and Heating Inc., providing water heater replacements and plumbing services throughout Oakland, is proud to announce that co-owners Don and Brad Marshall recently took part in the “Rebuilding Together Oakland” project at 1285 81st Ave. Rubenstein Supply donated a Williams’ Direct Vent Wall Heater and Harry Clark Plumbing and Heating Inc. installed it, along with gas lines and a thermostat.

"Ms. Edell Smith, who is 93 years young, was identified for this volunteer program that used to be called 'Christmas in April,'" said Mark McQuillan of Harry Clark Plumbing and Heating Inc. "Don met with Matt Laiolo of Rubenstein Supply and Siemens Industries' Rylan Ortiz, who coordinated our work."

Originally, the plan was to install a floor furnace, but after Don visited the site, the plan was changed to a direct vent wall heater. This unit ensured a higher safety standard for Smith and made better use of the floor plan. Harry Clark's technicians Philip Hopper and Ron Willis completed the installation in one day.

Harry Clark Plumbing and Heating Inc. has been serving Oakland and the neighboring communities for 65 years. The company specializes in home services that include work on faucets, toilets, water piping, sewers, trenchless sewers, water heaters, gas lines, and heating and air conditioning systems.
