Oakland, California (EastBayDaily) — Oakland’s Lincoln University, providing an education that includes international studies, graduate degrees, MBA degrees and professional degrees, is excited to announce its second annual Sports Day event, held on April 15.
“This is a day for faculty, staff and students to participate together in activities through friendly competition,” Annique Dalley of Lincoln University said. “Last year, the faculty won against students in a soccer match, so this year, all eyes are on the outcome of this match.”
The event ran from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Bladium Sports and Fitness Club in Alameda. Students, faculty and staff will be able to compete in sports like volleyball, basketball and soccer. Awards will be given for the MVPs of each game.
“Our annual Sports Day is one of our most popular student events, especially since it also involves people from our surrounding community and gives prospective students a chance to sample the spirit that has made Lincoln the exceptional institution it is,” Dalley said.
Lincoln University prides itself on both the quality of its education and its relevance in today's professional world. It offers the following degrees: Doctorate of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Associate of Science in Diagnostic Imaging and more.
