Oakland’s Dorsey’s Locker Features A Nutritional Food Program for Non-Cooking Seniors

Oakland, California (EastBayDaily) — Beginning in February, Dorsey's Locker started featuring a new nutritional program, with a variety of meal plans, for seniors who can no longer cook and who utilize a caregiver. This program is simple to establish and a convenient, reliable and cost effective means for families to be assured that the nutritional needs of their loved ones are being met. The program is a great way to ease the minds and hearts of working families with the needs of elderly relatives resting on their shoulders.

For example, the plan set up by the family of James White, who has come to a point in his life where he can no longer cook and requires the use of a caregiver, provides any of his five family members with the option of ordering and picking up meals for him.

"We are very happy and relieved to have been able to work with Dorsey's Locker on a plan to support my uncle's meals. Our family members, working together, can now see that he gets food that meets his nutritional needs, that it is food he likes and is affordably priced," said White’s nephew, William Chapple.
