Oakland’s Francesco’s Restaurant Announces They Will Hosts Guide Dogs of America Charity Golf Tournament

Oakland, California (EastBayDaily) — Francesco’s Restaurant in Oakland will be hosting participants of the Machinist Automotive Trades 27th Annual Guide Dogs of America Charity Golf Tournament for an unforgettable dinner. The golf tournament will take place on Friday, August 26 at the Alameda Municipal Golf Course. Dinner will follow at Francesco’s.

“This is a one-of-a-kind tournament that raises money for the Guide Dogs or America,” said Theresa Erwin of Francesco’s Restaurant. “Last year, this charitable organization raised $125,000 for the cause.”

The Guide Dogs of America is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing guide dogs to visually impaired individuals at no charge. The golf tournament will have a hole-in-one contest with prizes awarded to the lucky golfer that accomplishes the feat. There will be prizes, raffles and lunch served on the course.

After the tournament, Francesco’s Restaurant will be the next stop of the event. The restaurant has always been the meeting place for lunch or dinner following various sporting events, concerts or any occasion. Steak and salmon will be on the menu for the evening.
