Alameda, California (EastBayDaily) — Pauline’s Antiques took part in Park Street’s 27th Annual Alameda Art & Wine Faire2011 this past July 30th and 31st in the Park Street Business District.
The event was a great time for the entire family and will be certain to return next year as well because of its popularity with people of all ages. Attendees enjoyed art, crafts, food, beer, wine, mimosas, a petting zoo, two music stages and a kids’ area complete with bounce houses, a giant slide, slot cars and face painting.
“The Art & Wine Faire has happened for the past 27 years and was another smashing success,” said Michelle Kelley of Pauline’s Antiques. More than 250 artisans displayed their wares including ceramics, metal art, paintings, photographs, wood crafts, toys, clothing, jewelry, and much more. There was plenty of tasty cuisine available, including sausages, corn dogs, gyros, roasted corn, fried calamari, teriyaki chicken, tamales, beef skewers, funnel cakes, gourmet fudge, beer, wine, and mimosas. While enjoying their food, those in attendance were able to enjoy continuous live entertainment performing classic rock, bluegrass, funk, jazz, and soul.
This annual event is a time when many of the businesses in the Park Street Business District band together and provide a terrific time for guests. Many of the shops that are closed on weekends were open for the event.
