Raiders Top Pick Hospitalized Again – Raiders Tickets Now Available for the 2013 Season – Powered By

Oakland, California (EastBayDaily) — Raiders fans can now find their 2013 Raiders tickets, schedule and fan hub at

In November of last year at a University of Houston football practice, Oakland Raiders’ top pick D.J. Hayden had a collision with a teammate that nearly killed him. The collision resulted in a vein in his chest to tear, sending him straight to surgery. The fact that he has come back so quickly and is now projected to start the season for the Raiders is remarkable. However, the star rookie went into surgery again this week to remove scar tissue from his abdomen. They have not ruled out that the two surgeries are unrelated, but it is unlikely. Hayden is expected to make a full recovery and be ready to play for the start of the season.

The Raiders picked up some new and fresh talent for the 2013 season that should help them have the comeback year they need. In week one of the season the Raiders will face the Indianapolis Colts. When these two teams met last year, Jacoby Ford returned a kick 99 yards for a touchdown and the Raiders intercepted Peyton Manning twice. This will be a close game, and one you don’t want to miss. In week four Oakland will come up against the 2012 NFC East division champs the Washington Redskins. To win this game the Raiders will have to stop RGIII and the rest of their powerful offense.
