Starting today and continuing through October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, many restaurants will offer the Pink Cookieâa chocolate cookie loaded with pink candy-coated chocolate piecesâas a special dessert or in conjunction with promotional events that raise awareness and money for local breast cancer programs. Last year, Otis Spunkmeyer customers baked and served approximately 10 million Pink Cookies. Otis Spunkmeyer, LLC, has donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® at least $100,000 in connection with the Pink Cookie program.
