Mountain View, California (EastBayDaily) — Sprint earlier this month announced the creation of Pinsight Media+ (TM), its new advertising service that gives advertisers the power to reach consumers on their mobile device in a more personalized way.
Today, Sprint is adding Skyfire, the leader in cloud solutions for mobility, to the Pinsight Media+ ecosystem. Skyfire Horizon is a browser extension platform that allows consumers to browse the mobile web with a variety of contextual and social tools at their disposal. Developers looking to learn more about the Skyfire-powered browser extension platform can attend the session, “Optimizing Your Apps for Discovery & Browsers on Sprint Phones” on Oct. 24 at the Sprint Open Solutions Developer Conference.
The platform supercharges the mobile experience by allowing users to seamlessly move between apps and browser content, as well as share content from their social networks, without leaving a browsing session. It also offers one-click access to the Web’s most popular social networks, content and utilities like Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Wikipedia, IMDB and Amazon, among many others. The framework also offers developers an exciting opportunity to reach end users via “beach front” real estate alongside the browser.
