Livermore, California (EastBayDaily) — Visit every Tuesday, as they highlight a NEW Dachshund in need of a forever home from one of their many Dachshund Rescue partners.

Every Dachshund featured on "Rescue Tuesday" will also be posted on PetMyWiener's Facebook page which is currently over 11,000 members strong. Their Facebook community is a great place for Dachshund enthusiasts to share photos, tell stories and hear about Dachshund news around the world. Unlike other company Facebook pages, PetMyWiener does not focus on promoting products, but rather focus on bringing Dachshund lovers together so they can share their love for the beloved wiener dog in their life.

The goal is to bring awareness to Dachshunds in need and help any way they can. 5% of sales are donated to various Dachshund Rescues and other groups helping Dachshunds, however these donations only help provide some of the basic necessities such as food and shelter. The ultimate goal of Rescue Tuesday is to find a Forever Loving Home for these little bundles of joy.

This new and exciting program launches with a female Dachshund named BELLA who is available through All American Dachshund Rescue ( AADR has been instrumental in saving Dachshunds in need.

Dachshund's are the most celebrated dog breed in the United States. According to the American Kennel Club, Dachshund popularity has remained in the Top 10 of most popular dog breeds since it's inception.

About Established in 2000, PetMyWiener started offering fun and unique Dachshund gifts to Dachshund enthusiasts through local events and other small venues as a hobby.
